Before you pay
Enrollment, cancellation and refund policy
Your $925 tuition reserves your seat and covers your full 68-hour program, all course materials and study guide, and your Virginia assisted living background check. Here is how eligibility, cancellations and refunds work.
Eligibility is confirmed after you enroll
Two requirements are checked after payment, both included in your tuition: your prerequisite documentation, a Board-approved nurse aide program certificate or a DSS 40-hour Direct Care Staff certificate [VERIFY], and a Virginia assisted living background check showing no barrier crimes.
If your background check finds a barrier crime
If the screening returns a barrier crime that prevents clinical placement, you will not be able to complete the program. We refund your tuition less the $45 background check fee already incurred, and tell you whether a waiting period or waiver may apply.
If we cannot verify your prerequisite
If you cannot provide qualifying prerequisite documentation before the roster locks, you choose: a full refund, or we hold your seat for the next cohort.
If you change your mind
Cancel at least 10 days before your start date and we refund your tuition less the $45 background check fee. Cancel 1 to 9 days before your start date and we refund 50%. Once instruction begins, tuition is non-refundable, but we apply it toward your next available cohort at no charge, one time.

By continuing to payment you agree to the Enrollment, Cancellation and Refund Policy above and to the Enrollment Agreement, which you receive and sign during onboarding. Payment is on Stripe's secure checkout, and your seat is held as soon as it clears.
After you pay
What happens once tuition clears?
From payment to your first day of class. You get an email at every step.
We confirm your in-person location and dates
You picked your class time above. After you enroll we place you in an in-person location and confirm your dates.
Your background check gets started
We order it through our screening partner right after you enroll, and you get an email from backgroundchecks.com with a secure link to complete it.
You get your welcome email
Start date, class schedule, your class link, your clinical location, an instructor introduction and what to expect on day one.
You start training
Live online classes plus in-person clinical days, then your certificate of completion. Then you apply to the Virginia Board of Nursing and sit the PSI exam.
