For employers

Workforce solutions for senior living employers

Apex Recruiting & Consulting helps assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing employers hire and keep staff. We review your hiring process virtually and on site, train your own CNAs as Medication Aides in employer cohorts, and supply per diem and interim staff while you hire.

Workforce assessment

What is an Apex workforce assessment?

Apex team members have more than 25 years of combined experience helping assisted living communities with short and long term staffing needs.

  1. A virtual review

We review your community's hiring process, job descriptions and map of communities, which positions have been hard to fill and the likely reasons why. This part can be done virtually.

  2. An on-site meeting

We meet on site to review your applicant tracking system, which is the software that holds your job applications. We discuss ideal hiring numbers, onboarding, credential checks, training, interviews and scheduling.

  3. A plan for your community

We work as an extension of your community, with the Executive Director, to deliver a solution that fits your recruiting needs and your culture.

Employer training cohorts

How do employer training cohorts work?

A cohort is a group of students who train together. Communities can train their own staff with us.

Reserve seats

Send the CNAs you already trust to an upcoming Apex Medication Aide class. It is often the fastest way to fill med tech openings with people who know your building.

Run a private cohort

Run a Medication Aide class just for your team, taught on your own MAR system and policies. A MAR is the medication administration record your staff sign for every dose.

Host clinical hours

Host supervised clinical hours for our students. Communities that host clinical hours get first access to our graduates.

Where cohorts run. Our Medication Aide program is approved in Virginia. New Jersey and South Carolina programs are in development, and New Jersey communities will be able to book on-site recertification classes for their current medication aides once that program is approved. See training by state
